My latest painting brings to life the Norse god Odin, often known as the Allfather. A figure of immense wisdom, mystery, and power, Odin is a seeker of knowledge, even at great cost: famously sacrificing his eye for insight at Mímir's well. He journeys between the realms, often accompanied by his two ravens, Huginn ("thought") and Muninn ("memory"), who act as his messengers and scouts, traversing the world to bring back what they see and hear.

In this depiction, I focused on the deep bond Odin shares with his ravens. To me, they represent more than his eyes and ears, they embody his constant thirst for understanding and his connection to all that surrounds him. I wanted to paint this version of Odin, not as a distant deity, but as someone intricately tied to the natural world, a figure draped in the whispers of the cosmos and adorned with the beauty of the raven's mystery.
